Yellow Kitchen!!!

We previously had the color red in our kitchen, but last weekend we I decided to paint the kitchen yellow. My first pick (sunbeam yellow) was a disaster. The color looked like a neon yellow. With Paul's help we quickly changed it the next day using the color honey carmel. We decided that we liked it a ton more, but it still seemed a bit bright to us. So eventually we agreed to keep it to see if the color would grow on us since we hear that it may take some time to really adapt to the color yellow. I can tell you one thing, our kitchen is a much brighter and happier place to be!!

The picture below is a glimpse of our mini-kitchen remodel.  We put in a new sink and dishwasher. We are still waiting for the electrician to hook up our dishwasher, but until then Paul and I are very pleased with the new sink. Yippee!!!

This picture is for my sister, Angie. She told us about these Red Velvet muffins that you could purchase at Costco. WE LOVE THEM.....so yummy. Sugar overload!
For now the Canright projects have been put to rest....at least for this weekend. We decided that we needed to take a break and really enjoy this weekend because THE BABY SHOULD BE COMING NEXT WEEKEND....HOPEFULLY!
